The Italian Innovation Roadshow arrives in Verona with Sparkasse

The event, organized in collaboration with LDV20 – Sparkasse, hosted by the University of Verona and supported by Fondazione Cariverona, will take place on Wednesday, May 6th, starting at 9:00 AM, at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Verona.

The central theme of the Verona edition will be:
“Entrepreneurial Education. Models to draw inspiration from and opportunities to foster innovation in the Northeast”

This event is designed to create connections between incubators, accelerators, startups, universities, professionals and ecosystem players, while also providing aspiring entrepreneurs and established startups with concrete tools to grow their projects.

The day is not simply a sequence of talks, but a structured journey built around three key objectives:

1. Inspire through effective models and methodologies
   The morning will open with a reflection on the value of entrepreneurial education—not only as a practical tool, but also as a guiding principle: a compass that shapes decisions and strategies.
   A keynote speech on “the meaning beyond the purpose” will offer an initial perspective on what makes an entrepreneurial growth journey truly effective.
2. Showcase first‑hand experiences from local ecosystems
   Some of the most representative incubators and accelerators from the Northeast will present concrete examples of their programs, including:
   • Vertical approaches
   • Territorial models
   • Field-tested support methodologies

   A chance to explore different ways of developing startups and nurturing talent.

3. Voices from startups, professionals and local stakeholders
   Startups from the region will share what works—and what can be improved—in the current support pathways.
   Next, professionals will help highlight how the ecosystem extends beyond traditional incubators, integrating cross-disciplinary skills essential for business growth.
   Finally, a discussion among key local stakeholders—academia, institutions, philanthropic initiatives and the business community—will offer an overview of the entire innovation value chain, from education to the creation of new ventures.
